Removing devices (not removing drivers) then letting windows add them again It suggests to me a hardware fault, but I'm happy to try something if anyone has any suggestions? I tried a driver directly from Atheros but that hasn't changed anything. Should this just work out of the box? I tried to open the bluetooth settings by going to the bluetooth icon in the taskbar but when I click bluetooth settings and then try to click any of the settings, it either freezes or tells me it can't save the setting I clicked (namely the one that says 'allow devices to see my computer').Īfter trying bluetooth the laptop doesn't restart properly.
